Just venting about modern Internet

So I just read The Ringer article, "The Day the Good Internet Died"  and man, I completely agree, it perfectly captures my feelings about the modern internet climate and why I’m not vibing with it. Maybe it’s because I’m oldies and grew up during the Friendster and MySpace era, making Blogspot sites, writing whatever I wanted because it was the coolest thing ever at the time, and tweaking HTML to make my profile as cute and aesthetic as possible.

Like, the old internet sure had its flaws, but I’d take it any day over the modern internet. At least back then, I had more control over what I wanted to see. Meanwhile, today’s internet just… sucks. Ever since content can became commodified and monetized, people have been churning out controversial opinions and fueling discourse all the time for engagement and clout. It’s so depressing. People chase that dopamine rush from high numbers of retweets, likes, and shares, so they keep drumming up more "provocative" or "controversial" opinions, and the algorithm prioritizes that kind of content because it gets the most engagement.

I am so fucking upsets at new Yumia battle illustrations posts, there's so many braindead culture war-brained coomer acting like monkey & making up shit of censorship boogeymans. Do these Ryza tourists rly think Atelier has same fanservice like senran kagura?
I am mad because Benitama-sensei doesn't deserve this. The artworks are so beautiful & amazing and all these roaches think is ''m-muh censored" (it's not) like I've been fan of Benitama since their GBF fanart days & was so happy they got hired as game character design like Yumia is one of atelier that make me interested to buy in the future just because the artist alone & I even consider wanting to buy some merch with Benitama arts in it.
Yet, idiot westerners just angry bcus it's not as coomer like ryza. Despite, Yumia's has so many suggestive pose & sexy character design. I fucking hate it so much, that I don't want to RT the post because it just makes me so angry seeing Benitama's art being polluted by these intellectually disabled morons

Every day whenever I saw news about what happen in my country I just...feel depressed, like I want to angry, but I am too tired. I just checked some old xeno community many sites and seeing how a lot of them deact their account is just sad...especially I want to know how they feels about Xenoblade....
