Trigun Stampede : Thought & Review

finally I managed to catch up to this series!, for disclaimer I never watch nor read original Trigun or Trimax so Stampede is my very first exposure for Trigun series. Forgive me if there's part of me being clueless or ignorant with Trigun lore. So here we go!

So I wasn't really interested with this series at first because ngl, I don't like Vash redesign, althought this series is my exposure to the series i did know about Trigun as famous classic animanga series but I havent't watched it sadly.
As much as dumb it sound I actually interested with this series because of the heavy brocon element in this series, yeah Plantcest/Knivash ship really hook me to this series, As a brocon enjoyer it is my duty to watch this series because i need my dose of brocon hehehe
I'm not going to delve much into overall story I mostly just want to pur my thought but so far for the story it is not bad and enjoyable but maybe I really dislike the pacing because i feel this series will do better if its 2 cour, so much missing context or some of plot story were being told in much later end of episode, like it wasnt problem but for me as someone who didn't know trigun lore I need to scratch my head and guessing until i watch later episode. it wasnt bad but I wish they actually give some hint instead being too vague.
As for animation, it's really great! the 3DCG aint really bad, sasuga Orange. but I feel with the vibe the series going for this would work much better if its actual 2D so the character can be more expressive and I think with how Trigun series vibe, it def looks much better on 2D with goofy anime expression (esp Vash is a bit goofy himself)
And for Character, hmmm. I still don't like Vash character maybe because I DONT really like naive idealist pacifist type chara hahaha. Idk if OG Vash also like this so most of my impression on Vash character are comes from Stampede (again this is my first exposure to the series, yurushite) I honestly don't really like how Vash is that too goody shoes idealist, like I don't think he need to be pessimist like Wolfwood but at least he need to be abit realistic in some part esp during Rolo arc, like it's clear Rolo would be better die because him being alive is just torture for him but instead him mad at Wolfwoof for killing him (WW did a right thing imo) and just went usual ''uhnn we can fix him, you just dont know yet!)
and as for Wolfwood i know the spoiler of him being aged up shota, that actually explain so much for his character, a rather edgy pessimist character lol. his character concept is very cool and esp his weapon is such banger, honestly I love sum shota and age gap but Im kinda dissapointed Wolfwood aint even true oyaji chara.....fandom tricked me, but honestly I feel Wolfwood character is rather underwhelming , he has the chemistry with Vash but sadge they don't really went too deepr. again tho I blame this on the pacing because the anime being 1 cour series. shikatanai
Meryl is fun character too and love her shenanigan with Roberto and Vash.
Also as for Nai *ahem* I might be biased for him because my brain is just short-circuited when I see thirsty brocon character, I just didn't EXPECT they really went all out with his broconnes they DONT EVEN hiding it lmao

especially in this part, He's so fucking yandere for his otouto, im fucking dying. and I legit didn't expect they jsut put metaphor of Nai impregant Vash through Plant interdimensional womb jehgjekksdl, overall I fucking love his character. I love how he really unabashedly evil (but with actual reason) and also very obsessed with his brother lmao. kinda sad that they killed him....truly broconphobic...
My issue with Nai is probably a lack of writing for hiw goal, like we knew why he dislike human but in the anime it feels too how should i put it underwhelming and kinda forced? like yeah he saw how terrible the human to the plant but feels like they could explore more about it. well again due of pacing.
I feel that most of my issue with Stampede is because the pacing honestly, like I said this show would work better as 2-cour for solidfied the plot and pacing better. also for redesign, i just dont understand why they changed Vash like that, i feel his old hairstyle is good! his OG design fit his character and his vibe better than his redesign who feels like uguu soft boy.
I rate it 7/10,it's rather decent show. not too bad but also not too amazing.. I'd say give it a watch esp if you guys want good brocon show tee hee~.
I think I might be interested with OG Trigun series and might give the OG manga and anime a try! maybe I can get better picture or context. because I feel this series was also intended for the old fans because how the writing feels like they're very subtle about it and expect the audience to understood it.
Anywa regardless your stance on Plantcest I hope you guys not being denial that Knives is terminal Brother Complex that wanted to fuck and impregnant his twin brother.
