I just finished AAI2 and already bought the Apollo Trilogy. Damn, Ace Attorney really hooked me so bad.

Damn, Gura's really graduating from Hololive... and the fact that her reason was due to disagreements with management and the company's direction just makes the whole thing feel iffy. You can even hear it in her voice—she sounds like she's holding back tears :( What the hell is going on with Cover???? I wonder if this is the end of the Hololive era, at least in the English sphere. Been replaying FE PoR and I seriously can't stress enough how much I freaking love the worldbuilding—especially how they handle the war themes. The characters just act like real people and there’s so much raw emotion packed in.

It's honestly really funny when people get hysterical or super reactionary about incest in media. Like yeah, incest is creepy, but it’s not this hardcore fetish like people assume. It’s honestly tame, it’s like entry-level taboo/transgressive genre/fetish content. If you can stomach violence and horror, surely you can stomach incest even if you're not into it.

I also just bought Lao Gan Ma chili oil (black bean & chili crisp flavor), and people weren’t lying—it is FREAKING GOOD. I legit got addicted and even ate it straight from the jar LOL. To me, the black bean version is best used as an ingredient or condiment for stir-fry dishes, while the chili crisp one works better as a topping or dipping sauce. Definitely going to buy again, but I think I’ll stick to the chili crisp version since it’s my absolute favorite lol.

I lowkey want to re-read Citrus. I used to dislike it because it felt so melodramatic, but now I kinda want to give it another shot. There must be a reason why it was so well-loved by JP yuri fans. My memory of it is a bit hazy, though.

i think this is why I am also kinda weirded when people shipping vtubers i guess....like if ppl being horny to vtubers it generally more bcus of their character design rather than the person behind it but for shipping it feels weird because they're technically real ppl despite using anime avatar?
it's veneering into RPF territory and personally I never into idol/seiyuu shipping. like I'm just not into RPF shipping lol

Also a bit of my 2cent but I think people shouldn't take vtubers word at face value especially regarding about their sexuality. Like maybe this is strictly about japanese vtuber (especially if they're corpo vtubers) because when japanese vtuber doing some sort of yuribaiting/yaoibaiting it's not because they're queer or something, but they're just doing ''Business Yuri/BL''. it's pretty common among japanese idol culture usually doing shipbaity stuff to appease fans.
I think a lot of people still having hard time to internalizing this but most japanese vtubers (especially the corpo one) tend to put up a kayfabe or different ''persona'' compared to their nakanohito (PL).
for example they might say they like girls or not interested with men but when you check their nakanohito you see they have boyfriend/husband. it happens a lot.
I'm not trying to undermine/denying some JP corpo vtubers queerness but it just...I think it best to not putting your stock too much into it.
I trust indie more because they have less chance to lie about their own sexuality.
I feel it's something about knowing how to read 2 lines I guess, the vtubers might say they're A but doesn't mean they're literally A inside. it just lip service/kayfabe they put to separate their real life identities.
You know which one is genuine and just doing business Yuri/BL. it's matter of ''feeling'' and ''skill''.
because I also feel there's some corpo vtubers that like actual queer in closet but I try not to expect too much into it.
at the end of day their sexuality/identity doesn't matter much to me. Generally I separate their vtuber self from their IRL self
