Wednesday, 8 October 2025 02:12 pmMan, after seeing Bluesky’s new guidelines, it’s really frustrating how strict they’ve become with sexual content. Banning things like non-con depictions, taboo or transgressive kinks, and more.
I genuinely don’t understand why they’re doing this when they’ve been advertising themselves as a platform friendly to artists and NSFW creators, only to suddenly pull something like this.
But honestly, Bluesky isn’t the first one to go down this path. Cohost already tried being restrictive toward certain adult content, and before that, Tumblr started it all with its infamous porn ban.
